Montreal software company launches partner program, looks for partners to sell its ERP software

Software company Jonar isn’t shy about calling most enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions terrible, and it’s carrying that confidence over to its newly-launched partner program.

The ERP company from Montreal is looking to recruit channel partners to sell and service ParagonERP, its cloud-based ERP software solution, which launched in 2016.

“Traditional ERP systems are unnecessarily complex, difficult to implement and ridiculously expensive – basically, they suck,” the company released in a statement Thursday.

Jonar is looking for partners that have experience selling and implementing software such as ERP, CRM, and accounting systems for a range of customers and industries. It also wants its partner ecosystem to provide all types of support and services to its Paragon customers, such as customizing the solution to meet customers’ specific needs and training.

“Jonar’s Partner Program offers unique incentives, such as competitive revenue sharing and 100% of the service fees retained by the partners, which is virtually unheard of in other partnership models,” Irene de Gooyer-Collins, director of business development at Jonar said in a statement. “We also believe that our partners are an important part of the Jonar family, so we provide free training, marketing and sales support, and everything else our partners need to be successful.”

ParagonERP stacks up well against other ERP platforms, according to the Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC). At a glance, TEC says ParagonERP performs consistently better in almost all categories (financials, human resources, inventory management, etc.) compared to competitors such as Sage, Exact, and even SAP’s Business ByDesign solution. ParagonERP is even nipping at the heels of Microsoft’s Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 and Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
