Pivot3 expands its global partner program

Hyperconverged solutions provider Pivot3 is updating its global partner program with a three-tier system, and expanding training to include online certifications, on-site workshops, and deep-dive training for professional services.

Bill Stover, chief executive officer, Pivot3, reaffirmed the company’s “100 per cent” channel driven strategy, and the opportunities that lie ahead for partners to help customers manage the increasing amounts of data generated from their workloads.

“Pivot3 is the only HCI provider that can support demanding data-intensive workloads like video surveillance and video analytics. This gives our partners a leading and differentiated solution to sell as IT transitions into a world of video-based computing and is required to support the huge amount of data generated from these workloads,” Stover said in a press release.

The three levels in the program are: Authorized, Select and Premier Partners. Each tier has its own set of revenue and training requirements, with increasing benefits as partners move up the tiers.

Pivot3 says after rolling out key program elements in the third quarter of 2019, it saw a 17 per cent increase in partner-led deal registrations, supporting a 20 per cent increase in total revenue growth from the partner community over the previous quarter.

The recent updates to its global partner program comes on the heels of a new hire in Nicole Cardenas, Pivot3’s new channel marketing director. Cardenas joined Pivot3 from Arrow Electronics.
