Best Managed Services Solution at CDN Channel Elite Awards 2015

CDN Channel Elite Awards

The Best Managed Services Solution gold was awarded to Toronto-based Navantis.

This year’s winner is no stranger to the category, having won the bronze award last year.  In its second year of providing managed services, Navantis created new solutions including a cloud-based IT service management technology, a management tool layered on top of Windows Azure Pack for workload control, and a cloud port of its PeopleWorks offering.

In one case, they saved their client 441 per cent on an annual basis, simply by moving a luxury hotel chain from VMware to Hyper-V.

The silver award winner in this category went to No. 3 solution provider on this year’s CDN Top 100 list Compugen of Richmond Hill, Ont.  Their client — a major utilities company serving over 100 communities in Canada,  had evolved well beyond the capacity of its existing outsourced arrangement. Compugen identified key pain points and proposed an enterprise strategy of customer-owned toolset, customer-owned data and service-provider driven management to overcome them.

For the bronze, Montreal-based Itergy won for assisted a school board in their Office 365 migration by connecting all hosted Office 365 infrastructure components with its on-premise Active Directory, federation and synchronization infrastructure.

The solution also helped filter spam, improved uptime and expedited technical issues to Microsoft. The solution also helps maintain the overall infrastructure by managing patches and updates.
