Shawn Snobelen is now with D&H Canada.
The long time LG Canada and Brother Canada executive is the new national manager of retail and online sales for the Mississauga, Ont.-based distributor.
Snobelen has more than 18 years of experience in both the IT and retail channel and with his new job comes a new mandate. Snobelen will spearhead D&H’s retail portfolio in Canada along with establishing new partnerships with vendors that target the consumer space. Supporting this announcement is the news that D&H has signed up Dell Canada for its consumer product line.
According to D&H Canada GM Greg Tobin, more solution providers that sign up with the distributor are offering consumer electronics devices, home automation products and small business networking tools to customers.
Tobin said that D&H Canada has watched product trends converge and overlap over time, from networking to consumer electronics gear to mobility products. “The retail segment is becoming a more crucial component of our customers’ business.”
Snobelen said D&H Canada has been a growing force in the consumer space. The company is able to offer vital support for long-time retail partners as well as resellers who are focused on expanding their retail presence.
