Government of Canada picks KeyData for cybersecurity contract

A Toronto-based cybersecurity firm today announced it has been selected to provide the Canadian federal government with security solutions and systems integration services.

KeyData Associates will play a big role in the government’s cybersecurity strategy during the contract’s five-year term, the firm indicated in a press release. It will help Shared Services Canada (SCC) address the Privileged Access Management (PAM) requirements of the country’s cybersecurity strategy. Key components of this initiative include the CyberArk Privileged Access Security Solution for PAM the SailPoint IdentityIQ solution for identity governance. KeyData will help in the design and implementation of the two solutions.

Scott Whitehouse, vice-president of channels and alliances at CyberArk said Canada is taking “commendable action” to protect its citizens and their data.
