Long View Systems wins Microsoft’s Canadian Partner of the Year award, DSI named a finalist

One of Microsoft’s biggest partners took home the Canadian Partner of the Year award last week.

The back-to-back award for Long View Systems will be recognized at Microsoft Inspire next month in Las Vegas. The firm took home the same award last year in June when it ranked as the fastest growing Canadian licensing service provider with 36 per cent year-over-year growth and ranked number one for cloud service provider market share in Canada.

But Long View Systems wasn’t the only Canadian partner to bring home some hardware. Dimensional Strategies Inc. was recognized as a finalist for the 2019 Microsoft DevOps Partner of the Year Award.

Microsoft says the DevOps Partner of the Year Award recognizes a partner who excels at delivering modern applications by leveraging the people, processes, development tools and platforms to create, or support the creation of software through the connected use of Microsoft’s developer tools and platforms. Azure is one of those tools.

This year, Microsoft acknowledged partners in 41 categories; celebrating each of the solution areas, industries and sectors in which Microsoft technologies are used. In a blog post, Gavriella Schuster, Microsoft’s corporate vice-president for One Commercial partner, wrote they received nearly 3,000 nominations across 115 countries.

“For each one, we evaluated how the technology was used, the impact it had, and the commitment to customers demonstrated along the way,” she explained.
