TORONTO – The No. 5 Solution Provider on the CDN Top 100 Solution Providers’ list comes with a little story. When CDN acquired the Top 100 program back in 2002 Editor Paolo Del Nibletto met with the HP Canada Channel Chief Dave Fredrickson to ask him if he knew of any great, up-and-coming solution providers who were currently not on the Top 50 VARs list.
Fredrickson suggested only one name, a Calgary-based solution provider named Long View Systems. And, that Calgary solution provider for the first time in its history has made the Top 5 on this special list.
What is even more ironic is that 13 years after that meeting Fredrickson is now a big part of this solution provider’s future running its Ontario business unit. In 2014 they continued to innovate making a joint IDC CDN Top 10 cloud provider list. And, they are still a partner of HP today along with AMD and Tech Data Canada.
