New channel program for managed services providers

Ottawa-based LPI Level Platforms Inc. is introducing a new certification program for its managed services providers in North America (MSP) which enables solution provviders to be called Level Tech Certified.

Solution providers in LPI’s MSP network will be able to earn a formal designation that demonstrates they have achieved expert proficiency in the use of Managed Workplace RMM platform.

The LevelTech certification program consists of a series of video courses, available online and on demand, and concludes with a 90-minute online exam. These courses cover all the major competencies required for expert use of the full capability of Managed Workplace including: installation and set-up, reporting, patch management, task management, alerting and problem remediation.

LPI is making the Level Tech Certification free of charge for members of its MSP network.

According to LPI, there are five benefits for certification:

1.Validation of essential technician competencies;

2.Verification of best practices RMM techniques; and

3.Confirmation of their proficiency of established best practices in IT automation;

4.Optimization of their Managed Workplace deployments, and;

5.Demonstration of their expertise to clients and prospects.

Dave Sobel, CEO of LPI partner Evolve Technologies, said certification makes perfect sense as Evolve invested heavily in its key tools and want to maximize every capability possible.

“Only with a clear measurement can we ensure we do that, and certification delivers that. By doing that, our customers know we have the highest quality of service possible, increased confidence in our skills, and a measurable indicator of our professionalism,” Sobel said.
