Acer debuts ultrabook with a MagicFlip in Canada

Measuring just 0.44 inches at its thinnest and .059 at the thickest, the 2.65 pound Acer Aspire S5 ultrabook makes its way into Canada.

According to Acer Canada, end users can at the touch of a button, the S5’s innovative MagicFlip I/O Port pops out to reveal hidden ports, such as USB 3.0, HDMI and Thunderbolt.

The Aspire S5 is one of the first ultrabooks in Canada to feature Thunderbolt, a new way to transfer data between a PC and peripherals and high-definition displays, all over a single cable.

The ultra-sleek machine includes a 3rd Generation Intel Core i5 processor and a 128GB solid state drive(1.

Acer’s 2.98 pound Aspire S3 ultrabook now includes models with a 3rd Generation Intel Core i5 processor.

The company also unveiled a champagne coloured ultrabook.

Prices start at $799.99.
