Ballmer juggles Windows Phone leadership On ZDNet, reports on a change in leadership at the company. “Current Windows Phone division President Andy Lees is being moved to a new role, reporting directly to CEO Steve Ballmer, according to an email from Ballmer. Lees’ new job will be focused on something having to do with Windows Phone and Windows 8 in 2012. All of Lees’ direct reports are moving to Myerson,” she writes. What’s your opinion?

EU stalls Googorola anti-competition probe On The Register, Anna Leach  reports on barriers to the deal. “The antitrust authority has been reviewing Google’s merger with Motorola Mobility for breaches of European competition law. The EU Competition Commission announced today that it has halted the review because its wanted to see ‘certain documents essential to the evaluation of the case,’ according to EU spokesperson Amelia Torres,” she writes.
