I read this story about AT&T offering new or refurbished Apple tablet products for $100 or less. The catch is to get this deal you must link yourself to AT&T as a service provider for the next two years and put your name on the dotted line in the contract.
I wonder if this type of tactic will be coming to Canada and be implemented as “special offers” with the service providers here? Already the iPhone 5 is being used as a tactic by service providers to get hooked into a long term contract.
Just the other day my best friend was telling me how one service provider offered his wife a package featuring an iPhone 5 that was an amazing deal. It ended up costing him an extra $10 a month and his wife got an iPhone 4 instead of an iPhone 5.
