Millennium Data Systems acquires VistaPages

Last week, Millennium Data Systems, a managed services company based in Vaughan, Ont., announced that it has acquired Toronto-based VistaPages Inc., a managed hosting provider.

By acquiring VistaPages’ assets, Paul Di Benedetto, CTO at Millennium, said VistaPages employees and their customers will now have Millennium’s broad set of hosted and managed services solutions available to them.

Millennium serves small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), enterprises, as well as telecommunication companies. Its services range from Internet access to connectivity solutions, hosted services, data centre services and various technology services, to name a few.

“The acquisition of VistaPages reinforces our business mandate to aggressively grow our managed services practice via accretive acquisitions,” Di Benedetto said. “VistaPages is the second acquisition for Millennium in 2008, the first being HostVector and we will continue on the path of acquiring additional managed service providers.”

Millennium executives are expecting the migration of VistaPages onto Millennium’s national IP Network to be completed by the end of this month.
