Toshiba Of Canada Ltd.’s office products group and Apparent Networks Inc. of Vancouver have created an exclusive agreement to deliver network assessment solutions to users of Toshiba’s Strata CIX line of IP business communication systems via its network of Authorized Toshiba Dealers.
Toshiba Canada’s Authorized Dealer network comprises 80 business communications dealers.
Both companies expect this strategic alliance to address the growing need for network assessments for VoIP deployments.
This exclusive agreement provides the Authorized Toshiba Dealers with a choice of Toshiba Canada performing network assessments with Apparent Networks’ AppCritical or the Authorized dealers directly purchasing AppCritical themselves. This in turn empowers them to lead their customers through a successful VoIP installation.
Richard Wierzbowski, Toshiba Canada’s director of telecommunication operations, said Toshiba’s association with Apparent Networks, provides its authorized dealers with another means to ensure successful VoIP implementations when migrating customers.
Irfhan Rajani, President and CEO, Apparent Networks said Toshiba Canada recognizes the importance of network performance in a successful VoIP installation. The strategic alliance is a natural evolution of our existing relationship with Toshiba, a VoIP solutions leader, he said.
