    In 2014, IBM Corp. commissioned research company Forrester Inc. to provide a total economic impact study for managed services providers (MSPs) partnering with SoftLayer, an IBM-owned hosting service with data centres in the United States, Asia and Europe. The study investigated the experiences of six mid-sized MSPs from the Americas and EMEA, aggregating their findings into a composite MSP to detail the risks and opportunities of a SoftLayer partnership.
