LastPass hacked – source code stolen

LastPass, which bills itself as the #1 password manager, was hacked and portions of its source code stolen. This is according to a report from website Bleeping Computer, who claimed that insiders had tipped them off.  According to the reports, the attack happened two weeks ago.  The company has acknowledged the incident but claims that no user data or passwords were stolen. It has set up a blog to provide additional information.
