Solution provider CloudOps has partnered with Cologix to launch a new Canadian virtual private cloud.
Based in Montreal, CloudOps, which provides private, public and hybrid solutions has launched Cloud.ca with Cologix, a Denver, Colorado-based company. The infrastructure company operates data centres in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
“For a cloud provider like us, finding the right data centre provider is a key decision,” said Pierre-Luc Bisaillon, chief operating officer at CloudOps in a statement.
The Cloud.ca page reads that the offering is “True Canadian cloud,” and that its servers will “remain in Canada forever.”
The offering also comes in two flavours, either an app-centric or end-user compute cloud and are billed by the hour.
