TAB Canada-Paramount PDI
TAB Canada has introduced an in-row power distribution and management solution for data centre managers with Wright Line’s 80kW in-row power enclosure called Paramount, powered by PDI (Power Distribution Inc.)
Wright Line’s enclosure platform is combined with PDI’s patented power monitoring hardware to create an in-row power solution for the data centre, enabling a complete and cost-effective data centre solution that brings power, cooling, cable management and security right to the rack level.
The in-row power enclosure is outfitted with a panel board for power output distribution, branch circuit monitoring, pre-cut power whips for in-row distribution, and an optional output receptacle module for future expansion and changes.
The combined solution will manage the proliferation of branch circuits, simplify system complexity and accelerate the speed of deployment.
Spectrum Control-Data acquisition module
FAIRVIEW, PA. – Spectrum Control Inc. has introduced a new data acquisition module that measures voltage and amount of current draw present in a system at strategic points while verifiying that the system is operating within specified metrics.
The module is designed to monitor and report system aspects including two independent AC voltage channels (input 120 VAC), two independent 10 Amp AC current channels, six independent 35 Amp 24 VDC current channels, four independent 60 Amp 24 VDC current channels, and ten 24 VDC inputs for on/off state.
Additionally, the modules facilitate the identification of circuit breaker trips and early stage device failures.
Data is transmitted via SNMP, but the use of Telnet and Serial communications is also supported.
Spectrum Control’s Data Acquisition Module employs a high level monitoring computer and six dual current sensing modules.
