Samsung’s video centric tablet is now available in Canada

Samsung’s first tablet to feature HDR video capability is now available in Canada.

With Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, the company has gone all in on the ‘video experience’. This includes the aforementioned HDR video compatibility, as well as quad speakers tuned by AKG by Harman and a super AMOLED display qualities for 4K video playback. If you find yourself on the road for a hefty part of the year, a tablet with this kind of video playback power could be a great addition to your travel kit.

Samsung is continuing the trend of making tablets easy to write on. Users can use the 0.7 mm tip S Pen to write notes, draw pictures, edit videos, translate text, or write a note on the screen when it is locked. And for those who prefer to use a keyboard, a magnetic keyboard similar to the likes of what you’d see on a Microsoft Surface is available separately.

To support those on the road, the Galaxy Tab S3 is also the first Samsung tablet to support fast charging.  And if you’re a big tablet gamer, the Galaxy Tab S3 includes features such as a do not disturb mode so you can game in peace, and Vulkan API to boost its graphics.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is available now across Canada at Samsung retail locations as well as most major retailers in black and silver. It’s priced at $799.99.
