Cisco Systems used its annual Partner Summit conference, held in San Francisco this year, to announce new channel initiatives and programs to better support its partner community and to help boost sales and revenue opportunities.
Since the HP partner conference was also going on at the same time as the Cisco Summit, Keith Goodwin, senior vice-president of Cisco’s Worldwide Partner Organization, thanked the thousands of partner attendees who came from across the globe for coming to the event, telling them they “made the right choice.”
Among some of the new initiatives the vendor announced at the conference included a new Teaming Incentive Program for partners, a shift in focus for partner specializations and a new Global Partner Network, to name a few things.
