The Channel Quadrant: IBM & HP make significant gains

This edition of the channel quadrant is all about big data and big iron.

The biggest vendor shift came from HP, as the tech giant moved up the channel commitment quadrant after a successful Global Partner Conference in Las Vegas.

VMware also had a successful channel show and it remains a market leader along with IBM, which hosted channel partners in New Orleans.

Another big mover was Cisco Systems, which reported and excellent quarter and is bouncing back from a sluggish 2011.

NetApp Canada has solutions for both big data and big iron, and rests well inside the channel commitment quadrant.

And, for the first time, there are no vendors currently scaling back. We hope it’s a trend that lasts.
