If you have the time, if you  have the money, and, maybe more importantly, if you want to get ahead of the competition or set your plans for 2014, then maybe attending a channel conference makes some sense.

At CDN we get invited to most of the channel conferences taking place in North America, Europe and Asia, and we have compiled a slideshow to let you know the best bets for your time and money during the fall campaign. Yes, it maybe fall, but there is still a lot of activity in the channel. Take a look.


VentureTech Network Fall Invitational in Palm Springs

It’s the place Bob Hope called home. Palm Springs is lovely this time of year, as temperatures cool to 24 degrees Celsius. And, if you’re a  VTN member, then this event is a must for you. N-Able Partner Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona

Speaking of hot places; Arizona gets to be a bit more tolerable this time of year, at just under 30 degrees Celsius. The event starts on Oct. 23 and there may not be a more important time to visit the N-Able show, especially after its blockbuster acquisition by Solar Winds. Its the 9th annual conference and this exclusive two-day event may help you discover how to improve your managed services business. And, you may sneak in a quick 18. Avaya Americas International Sales & Partner Conference in Cancun

It looks like the more shows we profile, the hotter the destination. Our next stop takes us to beautiful and sunny Cancun, Mexico for Avaya’s annual Americas International Sales & Partner Conference. It takes place Nov. 12 to the 15th and one of the best things about this event is that the solution providers are front and centre. Avaya does a great job of showcasing some of the innovative solutions developed by channel partners. Fall TechSelect Partner Conference goes Hollywood

There will be a lot of glitz and glamour at the fall function of TechSelect partners. Tech Data will be hosting is members at the historic Beverly Hills Hilton. Yes, this is the same place were Whitney Houston died and U.S. President Richard Nixon held his last press conference. But its also the place where the Golden Globes have been awarded since 1961. 2013 Fall VARnex Conference in San Diego

Synnex‘ VARnex group is gaining momentum and its approach as a peer-to-peer community of SMB resellers seems to be working. The group of solution providers use the show to connect with fellow members, share ideas and strategies, and partner to support each other. HP Discover in Barcelona

Get your passports ready. HP Discover’s European stop this year is in Barcelona. This is working out to be the must-attend-conference of 2013, featuring hundreds of sessions focused on strategic topics such as Big Data, Converged Cloud, Mobility, Security, and Risk Management. The show takes place between Dec. 10 and 12 at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via and it will feature a keynote from company CEO Meg Whitman. For more on HP Discover, click here:


Dell World in Austin, Tex. 

Rounding out the best channel conferences to attend this fall is Dell World. It takes place between Dec. 11 to  13 at Dell headquarters in Austin. Austin, by the way, is the Live Music Capital of the World. Did you know that? And Dell will entertain partners with CAMP FREDDY. Not just a band, but it is also way more than a jam session. CAMP FREDDY is an Occasional Happening, a freak of (Hollywood) nature. More importantly there will be star keynotes from Tesla founder Elon Musk and company CEO Michael Dell.
