OnX obtains SAP provider certification

Toronto-based enterprise data centre IT solutions provider OnX Managed Service is now an SAP-certified provider of the German software company’s infrastructure operations services.

OnX, which bagged the 5th spot in this year’s CDN Top 100 Solutions Provider event, will provide businesses a cost-effective delivery model for mission-critical SAP applications, according to Thomas Runge, chief operations officer for Onx.

“This achievement further reinforces OnX’s strategic direction to focus on the critical infrastructure and applications that drive our clients’ bottom lines,” he said. “The OnX Managed Services team is committed to technical excellence and being one of the first providers of infrastructure operations services for SAP solutions demonstrates our dedication.”

To achieve this certification from SAP, OnX’s infrastructure, physical and logical security measures, processes, portal, and technical staff went through extensive review by SAP to validate the operational integration of its support of SAP applications to help ensure compliance with SAP’s requirements for quality, availability and security.

OnX Enterprise Solutions, including the managed services division, is an enterprise data center solutions provider with a suite of end-to-end solutions including the industry’s leading federated cloud solution offerings. The company designs, builds and manages complete data center environments comprised of multi-vendor offerings in four core areas: hardware and software solutions, cloud and managed services, digital application services, and technology solutions and professional services.

SAP-certified providers of infrastructure operations services for SAP solutions undergo a rigorous assessment of their delivery and support capabilities every two years by SAP’s outsourcing partner certification group.

As an SAP-certified provider of infrastructure operations services for SAP solutions, OnX can perform a range of IT services related to SAP applications, from initial proof-of-concepts to rapid deployments for customers of their SAP solutions.
