Halifax-based Densitas Inc., a provider of artificial intelligence (AI) offerings for digital mammography and breast screening, has announced that U.S.-based Desert Imaging has implemented its IntelliMammo platform across the company’s health system.
According to Densitas, the AI engine acts as a “second reader to radiological technologists at point-of-care for image quality on every mammogram. Instructional content on appropriate positioning techniques is flagged for display by AI generated image quality assessments while the patient is still in the exam-room.”
