D&H Canada inks deals with Check Point, Extreme Networks

D&H Canada recently announced that it has signed distribution agreements with both Check Point Software Technologies Inc. and Extreme Networks.

With the latter, it said it will offer the vendor’s “full catalog” of networking offerings for managed service providers (MSPs), including switches and access points that leverage Wi-Fi 6e, with an emphasis on SD-WAN environments.

Plans call for D&H Canada to “deliver programs and resources to help introduce its MSP customer base to this provider’s offerings, including upcoming trainings.”

Jonas Brown, senior director, worldwide distribution sales and strategy at Extreme, said, “the network really is the central nervous system of an organization and with so many partners looking to partner with MSPs, it’s critical for Extreme to expand our ability to work with MSPs and arm them for success.”

As for Check Point, plans call for the distributor to carry its full suite of solutions from its Quantum, CloudGuard, Harmony and Horizon product lines.

Michelle Biase, general manager of D&H Canada, said the addition of both companies “helps us to help our MSPs and managed service security providers (MSSPs) and value-added resellers (VARs) who are trying to make that transition to an MSP. It gives them a broad offering of tools and technologies.”

She described Check Point as a “great add-on to our security portfolio,” and Extreme Networks as “important from a networking perspective:  When we look at things like collaboration room development or hybrid work or security in AI, all require stable network environments.”

Representatives from both companies, as well as from 30 or so others, will participate in D&H Canada’s upcoming Montreal THREAD Technology Conference, which takes place Nov. 8. To register click here.
